And, how about this BEAUTY!!! My hubby got me for Christmas...I just love it!

I was like a little kid jumping up and down with excitement when I saw this.

Now it's time for...

I met my husband on April 22, 2005 and we were married on April 22, 2007. The only people that knew we were getting married was our kids and one of my friends. We took off to a  little island off of Hilton Head called Dafuskie Island in SC. Yep! My mother was not too thrilled when she found out almost 3 months later. Ooops...My bad!

We got married at sunset on the beach accompanied by some dolphins. It was beautiful and I would so do it all over again the exact same way.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, I know I did. My daughter brought "Mocha" and as always he's a joy to have around. He even opened his own gifts. 

1. Yummy Quesadillas for lunch. 2. I wear my "J" for my friend Jenise battling breast cancer. 3. I was day dreaming at Lowe's. 4. Still dreaming, love that back splash. 5. Some crafty goodwill/habitat finds. 6. Taking a shopping break. 7. That time of year to start getting organized.

On Sunday I shared my Christmas Centerpiece that I made out of Styrofoam cones. I did a tutorial how to make these trees and the cute little mini tree skirt here.

I completely forgot about doing Pinteresting Friday but that's what happens when you think you are wonder woman. I mean really my week in review is usually Monday and here it is Tuesday. Geesh, I am really sucking at this. And, to think I have a schedule written down. 

My goal is to be blog organized by the first of the year so I have 3 1/2 weeks to get all the kinks out ;-)

Week in Review

How many new "Pins" did I add to my boards this week:   I added 43 pins and 1 more board. If you are not following me on Pinterest you are missing out!

The "Best" part of my week: Spending Thanksgiving with my husband and kids.  The youngest is leaving for the Air Force in June so this may be the last Thanksgiving for awhile that we will all be together.

My two oldest always come home early enough to have breakfast.

After Breakfast we watched parades and were lazy.

At this point we haven't even had turkey yet!

It was time to get dinner ready and it was nice to have everyone in the kitchen helping, with the exception of my 22 yr old son who took a 4 hr nap.

What kind of family dinner would it be if you didn't have a slip of the knife. Darn potatoes!

Dinner time...I will have leftovers until Christmas. My goodness!

Time to relax with a glass of wine. Every time I open a bottle of wine I write the occasion on it if there is one.

Oh! I can't leave little Mocha out..."We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving".

One more thing that made my week: My Best Friend who moved away 4 yrs ago is moving back and I couldn't be more ecstatic!

The "Worst" part of my week:  Having my hubby pass out on me when he broke his finger on Friday...I think I'm the one that is traumatized!

Current Project: Hmmm!! I'm working on books, shelves, canvas and glass...I know I'm so vague...lol

This week's goal: Blog planner almost done! I also really need to get my fall decor packed up and dig out Christmas stuff.

Last week's goal progress: I'm blaming the Holiday's on my slacking.

What I am currently  reading:  Ok! Forget the reading updates. I will have to come up with a new subject to talk about.

The "Best" part of my week: Getting a visit from a dear friend from High School. I went to school in PA and since I live in NC I have zero chance of seeing anyone. But, it's always good to get a visitor!

The "Worst" part of my week:  Grocery shopping for Thanksgiving because so was everyone else. Have I ever mentioned I hate despise grocery shopping.

Current Project: Not telling but here's a sneak peek...Can't guess, can you?? ;-) I guess you will have to come back!!

This week's goal: I'd like to finish the blog planner I am working on...I'm going to be ready for 2013 - Organize...Organize...Organize

Last week's goal progress: I finished the wire mesh wreaths I was working on...You can read the tutorial here. 

What I am currently  reading:  Right now nothing due to getting ready for the Holidays. I don't seem to have down time.

I seriously didn't know they still made them. Whew, I guess I better get with the times. (I'm too busy mourning Twinkies and Hoho's)

Week in Review...

The "Best" part of my week: Receiving a card from my dear friend Jenise that has breast cancer. You can read about her here.

The "Worst" part of my week:  Finding out I have an $800 medical bill to pay...That puts a damper on the Holidays...geeesh!!!  :-(

Current Project: Too Many. Covering books for decor, Christmas wreath and jazzing up my book shelves.

This week's goal: Decorating one book shelf at a time and reading my magazines.

Last week's goal progress: Well that was a big fat fail. All I had to do was read two magazines I had laying around and I only got to one. And, I received a couple more in the mail (goodness I will never catch up)

What I am currently  reading:  Still reading (such a slacker), "Young House Love" ...If you have not purchased this book, I HIGHLY recommend it! It's a must have for any DIY'er.
